Synopsis: The Italian Rosario Russo left his home country many years ago and built up an existence for himself in Germany. He now leads a peaceful life with his wife Renate and their son Matthias near the city of Frankfurt. Nobody – except Rosario himself – knows why he actually came to Germany. In Italy he was known by the name of Antonio De Martino as a hit man for the Mafia boss Mario Fiore. When he fell from grace, however, he was forced to give up his identity, leave his Italian wife and son Diego and go into hiding in Germany. 15 years later Rosario’s Italian son Diego, meanwhile 25 and also working for the Mafia, comes to Germany on an assassination assignment. With this reunion the past returns abruptly to haunt Rosario.
