Synopsis: Timo Wittmann is a person who never doubts himself. Although he’s in his late forties, he regards himself as by far the best of the bunch in his job as creative director in the Kranich Advertising Agency in Munich, and since his divorce ten years ago he has had a succession of young girlfriends. In his hubris, however, Wittmann has long since lost touch with reality. His star as top copywriter has faded, his ideas are no longer in step with the times. After producing a mediocre commercial, he is told by his old friend and owner of the agency, Hans Kranich, in no uncertain terms that he’s evidently past it. Kranich wants young blood in the Agency, and as a new managing art director he employs the author and ad-woman Susanne Andersen to work side by side with Wittman. He, however, regards her as no more than a slick chick, all theory and no practical experience – and a rival whom he has no intention of tolerating. In the firm belief that he is irreplaceable, Wittman spontaneously hands in his notice. When the Agency puts out a sits-vac ad looking for “a creative, high-end executive, no older than 30”, Wittmann decides - with the help of botox and cosmetic surgery – to outsmart his age and the Agency. Disguised as Ben Wiesner, he applies for the job and soon finds himself back in Susanne Andersen’s team – as a young ad-man. His plan: to prove to everyone that he’s top-notch. However, during a “Creative Weekend” in an idyllic environment, Wiesner alias Wittmann discovers to his consternation that his rival is not only an excellent copywriter but also a very attractive woman. In planning his coup, Wittmann hadn’t reckoned on having to deal with his own emotions...
